Welcome New Fall Aerospace Engineering Students!
On behalf of the Aerospace Engineering faculty, we welcome you to Cal Poly and to our department. We look forward to working with you. Please explore our website to learn more about our program, our projects, our students, our faculty and our office hours: http://aero.calpoly.edu .
ADVISING
You should have received an email from Admissions regarding registration and academic advising information for Fall Quarter. I encourage you to read online information from the College of Engineering Advising Center at http://www.eadvise.calpoly.edu/ . The CENG Advising Center is open Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm and can be reached at (805) 756-1461.
In addition, I serve as the undergraduate faculty advisor, and I have regular office hours scheduled each quarter. However, I encourage you to go online, where you will find many of the answers to your questions.
Make sure to review the Academic/Administrative Probation online at http://www.eadvise.calpoly.edu/policy/probation.php before choosing courses for your first quarter. Students within the College of Engineering are expected to enroll in a minimum of 6 units of coursework from their major and/or support requirements each quarter. In addition, students are not to exceed more than 4 units of coursework each quarter that is not degree applicable.
Registration begins July 30th and by now, you should have reviewed the online registration information on MyCalPoly. Please review the email recently sent by the Admissions Office for the College of Engineering for registration information and links: http://www.ess.calpoly.edu/_admiss/CENGreginfomov.html
PREFACE
