Intrasystem Visitor (to another CSU)
Intrasystem Concurrent Enrollment
Helpful Definitions:
- home campus - Cal Poly
- host campus - the campus where enrolled while away from Cal
Poly.
International
Exchange
These programs are established by an academic department and
coordinated by the International
Education & Programs Office. The IEP Office can be reached
for application information, deadlines and further questions at
(805) 756-1477 in Bldg. 38, Room 108.
Exchange students
will pay fees and earn resident credit at their home campus.
Course credit
from the host campus will be posted as Higher Education work and
those courses will NOT be included in the Cal Poly transcripts.
The GPA earned at the exchange campus will be averaged into the
Higher Education GPA.
Evaluations
will mail an updated curriculum sheet/Add-on evaluation to the student
6-8 weeks after transcripts have been received from the host campus.
This evaluation will indicate how the courses taken at the host
campus apply toward the student's graduation requirements.

International
Programs (through the Chancellor's Office)
Students may obtain applications and additional information from
the International Education
& Programs Office. The IEP Office can be reached for application
information, deadlines and further questions at (805) 756-1477 in
Bldg. 38, Room 108.
Participating
students pay fees to Cal State Long Beach and earn resident academic
credit at their home campus.
Course work
and grades will be sent from the host campus to the Chancellor's
Office who will translate the work over to Cal Poly classes. This
information will be forwarded to the Cal Poly Records Office where
the course work will be added to the students permanent Cal Poly
transcript. This process can take up to one year to complete.
Approximately
6-8 weeks after the new coursework has been added to the Cal Poly
transcripts, Evaluations will send an Add-on evaluation to the student
indicating how the courses were applied to graduation requirements.

Intrasystem
Visitor Program
*This program is for CSU students who would like to attend another
CSU campus without applying to the host campus or losing their matriculated
status at their home campus.
Requirements & Limits for all applicants:
- Applicants will not be approved if they are on Academic Probation
or have any registration holds. Students can check academic
status and hold via my.calpoly.edu Approval may be given for two host campus terms only
and each term must be requested on a separate application. Enrollment
is subject to space availability and enrollment priorities at
host campus.Evidence of course prerequisite completion may be required
by the host campus at time of enrollment.Full-time registration fees are paid to the host campus.
- The host campus will will automatically send transcripts to
the home campus without cost to the student.
Additional Requirements:
- Undergraduates: Student has completed at least 12 units as
a matriculated student at the home campus.
- Graduate: Student has been admitted to or is enrolled in an
authorized graduate program and has completed at least one term
at the home campus as a matriculated student.
How to apply:
The student is required to complete Part I of the Intrasystem
Visitor application. PLEASE CONTACT OR VISIT ACADEMIC RECORDS (01-222) OFFICE FOR VISITOR APPLICATIONS. The application should be submitted
to the home campus Records Department no less than four weeks
prior to the host campus deadline. The student is responsible
for knowing the host campus deadline and requirements.
If the application is approved, Part II will be completed
by the Records Office of the home campus who will forward the
application to the host campus. The student will be contacted
by the home campus only if there are questions or problems with
the application or eligibility. If the host campus accepts the
visitor, they will forward registration information to the student.

Intrasystem
Concurrent Enrollment Program
This program is for CSU students who would like to attend Cal
Poly (home campus) while attending another CSU campus (host campus)
without applying to the host campus or paying for registration at
both campuses. This program is common with students on Cooperative
Education work assignments in the area of the host campus or enrolled
in Senior Project while working in the vicinity of the host campus.
